Most of you know of Jock McKeen and Bennet Wong. They created The Haven in 1983.
Out of their collaboration came the Come Alive and the Living Alive Phase programs,  and the models that are the foundation of The Haven’s work.

We are now delighted to offer an opportunity to hear Jock McKeen talk with Jim  Sellner about three Haven Models and answer your questions.

You can listen to these live 60-minute tele-dialogues on your computer or on your  telephone.
There will be an opportunity for questions.

1. The Communication Model – Wednesday June 10, 6-7 pm Pacific Time
Communication is central to what we teach at The Haven. The Communication Model is a practical tool to use in interpersonal relationships – to learn about one’s self and  about others.
The Haven’s focus on self-responsibility, curiosity, embodiment and relationship is exemplified in this model.

2. The Selves Model – Wednesday June 17, 6-7 pm Pacific Time
This model offers a way of understanding ourselves and an opportunity to live with  more awareness and choice.
In contrast to the cycle of self-hate, with which we are all familiar, this Haven Model suggests another, kinder, option – the cycle of self-compassion.

3. The Resonance Model – Wednesday June 24, 6-7pm Pacific Time
The Resonance Model describes how we often relate in families and society, through a  dynamic of caretaking, pleasing, and conforming.
It offers ways that we can relate on a deeper, more satisfying level, through authentic self-disclosure.

It contains summaries of The Haven models.
